Harvest Comfort

October 1, 2009 at 8:30 am (Uncategorized)

As I tread among my broad terrace, I commence a new sight. The red and orange leaves dangle with wizened yet ethereal necks. In fact, the entire leaf seemed wizened itself, trying to generate an accomplishment of tenturing itself up. I can sense the toasty, cozy colors surround me. The raddishing red, the brilliant-to-the-eyes yellow, theĀ acerbĀ but sweet orange, and last but not least, the intimate brown.

I conclude, that Thansgiving will soon be coming around, then Christmas’ spirit will spread among the land. Soon, Christmas will come itself with candles, cookies, and Christmas trees, but for now, Autumn still needs care among our hands. We must love it while it’s here, and capture it before it’s gone. And when winter finally comes around, we’ll remember the days we used to dance in the leaves, not snow.

I can tell this winter is going to be cold… freezing… brrrilliantly fascinating and I am so excited! I can feel autumn becoming cold glaciers. I can feel winter but I can’t see it. It’s amazing. Winter is waiting for autumn to take it’s last lap to show off. Aumtumn announced… winter is coming! Right now, I can feel winter dancing in the middle of the sky. In a few months, the white silk sheet of winter will rest.

From it’s very first touch, everything will turn white. When the world is colder than a freezer, with ice sheets stronger than Antarctica’s. When snowball fighting and snow castles are made fun, when winter brings joy to us all.

Aumtumn Morning

September 25, 2009 at 8:30 am (Uncategorized)

Clearing the path, stepping on slippery rocks and furry sleek moss, I strut through a large crown of resting fog. I wake it up and it starts to toss and swirl around my sweater and vest. THere is dew hanging from the thin branches of the trees. The colors of autumn blow in the breeze. The bamboo is slightly leaning over, hugging the cold icy air.

Slowly blowing into my hot tea, I can feel a warm breeze spread over my face. The breeze had felt as if the sunlight had bathed the breeze clean, smooth and pleasently. I accept the breeze, close my eyes and smile. As soon as I step outside, the cold air rushes against me as I watch the colors hold the clouds as the clouds lift the sun up.

Autumn Sunrise

September 21, 2009 at 8:30 am (Uncategorized)

The days grow cold and chilly. The nights without the moon. The heart is warm and tender. A song without a tune. The pink and orange is what the sunrise makes. Ocean sparkling in the sky. Leaves red and orange dancing behind. The birds all sing and fly. Brighter than I’ve ever seen, ever seen before. Rocks and pebbles, purple clouds. The tall red roses roar.

Roses smile roaring red with stems of green below her head. The sun hiding behind the clouds, taking a tiny peek. Then she’s out to say hello, she’s playing hide and seek. The beautiful red and orange autumn leaves wave calmly and dance before the sunrise. The leaves are calm. But the weather is not. It’s wild and ready to throw us a huge storm. Sometimes it’s really angry and it cries. Autumn sunrise sparkles above. It’s hard to just ignore!
